Besides the lower prices, some vehicles might wash better in the Touchless Automatic Wash. Hummers, Jeeps and other vehicles have a lot of nooks and crannies that might be missed by the Soft Cloth Automatic Wash. The stronger soaps and high pressure water hopefully will give these vehicles a better wash.

The presoak is slightly acidic. The wash soap is slightly alkali. By alternating them it attacks different kinds of dirt equally well.

It also offers Clear Coat Protectant and Weather Guard. These combine to give a Teflon coating to repel dust, a UV protectant from sun damage, and a beading agent for your windshield and paint to avoid future water spot damage.

The maximum vehicle length of the Touchless Automatic Wash is 20’. This is shorter than the Soft Cloth Automatic Wash. Pretty much anything shorter than seven feet tall will fit. An extended cab with a short bed is fine, but an extended cab with an eight foot bed might not make it. There are photo eyes that will see the vehicle and stop the wash before the machine hits anything. Always take trailer hitches out of the receivers to avoid the machine seeing it and aborting the wash. Also fold in your mirrors to be safe. They will wash better in anyway.

Like the Soft Cloth Automatic Wash, the Touchless Automatic Wash menu shows two washes with and without blow dry. The Wash is a very simple, very inexpensive wash. You get pre-soak, wash soap and spot free rinse. The Wash-N-Dry is that same treatment with a blow dry element. The Deluxe offers a lot more. You get a high pressure undercarriage wash, double the amount of pre-soak, two high pressure passes, one with soap, and one with Weather Guard. You also get Clear Coat Protectant. That’s the pink stuff that smells so good. The Deluxe is also offered with a blow dry element.

To enter the Touchless Automatic Wash GO SLOW and line your car up with the rails on the floor. Proceed until the red traffic light comes on.

Leave your wipers on for the entire Touchless Automatic Wash and fold in your mirrors.

The blow dryers take 12 seconds to get up to full speed. It would take a lot of power to start all three twenty horse power blowers at the same time, so they are staggered to start separate from each other. So, just watch the counter for about twelve clicks before you stick your front bumper past the blower arch. Then continue to proceed slowly trying to time it so that your rear bumper is at the blower arch at zero.
